Truist Integrates GreatNonprofit User Reviews into CSR Platforms

Here at GreatNonprofits, we believe in allowing people to find, review and openly share information as the best way to find the right nonprofits to support.  Our goal is to make it easy for people to share knowledge so that other people can benefit from it. With this in mind, we recently entered into a data sharing agreement with Truist, a leading provider of corporate social responsibility and philanthropy services. Truist helps companies manage their employee giving, matching, and volunteering programs. Over the coming months, Truist will be incorporating our user reviews into their various products so their users can leverage this information to make decisions about their charitable giving.

Truist is one of the largest service providers in the corporate philanthropy field with some of the most recognizable brands as their clients. These companies put their trust in Truist because of Truist’s proven track record of helping their clients increase donations, drive volunteer and donor engagement, reduce costs, and facilitate greater community-related impacts. This is all accomplished through an easy-to-use donation management tool, which provides an intuitive donor experience, access to multiple payment methods including the payroll systems and a vast database of domestic and global nonprofit organizations.

As companies look for new ways to engage their employees with their CSR and cause marketing initiatives, one of the most effective strategies has proven to be corporate matching of employee gifts. Truist’s corporate Gift Matching solution helps companies make a larger and more meaningful impact in their community by supporting the causes that are most important to their employees.

Truist also recently launched InstaGive, a fundraising solution for nonprofits, smaller businesses, and individuals. InstaGive allows users to create a customized fundraising microsite that accepts credit card donations in support of causes they care about. The fundraising platform gives donors access to the same infrastructure that Truist uses for their large Fortune 500 clients.

One of the things which really sets Truist apart is the fact that they offer a complete end-to-end solution for their clients. This includes maintaining their own in-house processing and distribution system, which means donor funds get to the nonprofits much faster and more reliably than they would with an organization that uses an outsourced distribution partner. This is especially important for situations where speed matters, such as raising funds for the victims of a natural disaster.

Truist’s work also goes beyond just the financial aspects of philanthropy. Their Volunteer Solutions platform allows users to easily find volunteer opportunities, track their hours, engage partner charities, and manage large-scale events. Companies can set up customized “virtual volunteer centers” to organize their activities and access extensive reporting on how they are doing.

We are very excited about our partnership with Truist, and we look forward to sharing our data on their various product lines with their users!
