She realizes that animals have emotions and feel pain just as do humans, which is why they need to be treated humanely, with love and respect.

My mother served on a missionary board at church and took the responsibility of creating obituaries for church members. Her ability to work with grief stricken families was masterful and showed her kind heart. As a business owner, I saw her on countless occasions give away product to underprivilaged women knowing it would ruin her business. My father was a volunteer coach/leader for every childhood activity I participated in. Not only was he there for me, but he served as a father figure and role model for every other kid on the team/scout troupe/organization. He was also in charge of the church benevolence committee. That is when I saw charity served with dignity. The charitable spirit is impressive, but even more so when I consider that in some cases their charity was not clouded by their own challenges. ProjectGiveBack.org is an extention of Momma and Papa Miller’s charitable spirit.
